BROKEN

Fragile like autumn leaves, turning hues of gold and brown, trampled under foot lay Broken on the ground.
Chafed by the harshness of the concrete below, Thrown here and there whenever cold winds blow, whisked up in a whirlwind then suspended in the air, then cast down erratically then plummeting to despair, though glorious and stunning when last seen in flight now lay crumpled and Broken such a disheartening sight.
